We are back at it and making some progress.

Roof is getting done this week and gas was installed. Do I repair plaster or sheet rock the entire house?

Mechanicals will all be done this week and than we will be starting sheet rock in the basement and restoring plaster throughout the house.

After many months of getting the restoration started, it has finally started and over the next couple months huge transformations will occur.

It has been several weeks since the last blog post about the Fowler House but we are finally getting somewhere.  Once I finally got the Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historic District, which is the OK from the Historic District allowing us to do what we want to do with the house, I had to work on getting my building permit.  This comes with another set of frustrations.  Since this is my first full restoration, I am having to learn a lot about the process along the way.&n...

Once we finally decided on the perfect layout for what the interior of the "Fowler House" will look like we than had to submit it to the Boise Historic District to get the go ahead with the exterior.
